Preschool programs are for kids ages 3 to 5 years old and in preschool as of the first day of practice. Click below for more information and registration! We have an all-girls program option (female-identifying). All other groups are co-ed.

Kids must ride a pedal bike (no push bikes or training wheels) independently, being able to start and stop on their own 50% of the time or more. If your child is transitioning from a push bike to a pedal bike, our coaches are here to assist in that process. However, if your child is not yet confident pedaling independently, we ask that you register for a Push Bike class to ensure your child and their teammates have the most fun! Contact Aubrey at if you’re not sure which group is right for your child.

The main goals of our preschool programs are to foster team camaraderie, and share the fun of riding bikes with friends and coaches! Coaches will teach basic skills of reliably starting and stopping, reinforce trail etiquette and encourage proper balance on two wheels.

Parent Participation

At this age, parent participation is discouraged as we generally see riders grow and learn the most when they can attend practice without their parents!

Team Format

Each Spring and Fall semester runs for 8 weeks, followed by a 9th week to make up for any weather-related cancellations. Each team practices 1 day per week. Practices are 1 hour 15 minutes. Practices will meet at a different trailhead/location each week (See Practice Location Schedule). You can register for multiple teams to practice multiple days per week. We allow up to 10 riders per team with 2 coaches. A team must have at least 4 registrants in order to run. View our course catalogs for scheduling details.
