And Alicia Rose Pastore raced a World Cup Cross Country race today in Germany and placed 29th!

Alisha Rose is in Germany at a U23 camp and the rest of the team is in Durango for the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic. Sage and Teal will be racing the mountain bike race on Sunday along with the Sweet Elite boys. Tomorrow, Tad, Howard and Colton will all line up together for the Cat 2/3 road race, and that sounds very exciting.Read More
This year’s 40th annual Iron Horse Bicycle Classic marks the return of the observed trials competition after a ten year break! Also returning is the XC race. There will be several other road racing events over the weekend as well as a veloswap. On Sunday the 29th there will be a 40th anniversary festival and trials demo in downtown Durango! Medals will be awarded 3-deep in the following classes.
MTB ages 14 and up (Must use a mountain bike, intended as an introductory class for first timers)
Youth ages 13 and under
Womens 14 and up
The event will be held at Santa Rita Park, Durango, CO. There are great facilities at the park including covered picnic table areas, bathrooms with running water, horseshoe pits, beach volleyball courts, RV dump, Tourism office, plenty of shade, excellent fishing. Camping in City Parks in Durango is prohibited, unfortunately, and is enforced by park patrol.
